Identity-Enlightening

Identity-Enlightening

This blog is a part of pre-thinking activity which assigned by Dr. Vaidehi ma'am. It features three questions that explore the significance of a name in someone's life. Let's jump into these questions without further ado.

Q - 1) What is your name? What is the meaning of it?

My name is Darshan.

Meaning of Darshan:-

Vision; Knowledge; Observation; Doctrine; Philosophy; Perceive Or Vision Or Paying Respect Or Religious Text

Q-2) ) What qualities commonly linked with your name do you believe reflect your attributes?

The qualities linked with my name, Darshan, meaning philosophy, perfectly reflect my deep love for thinking about life's big questions. I'm inspired by different ideas like how to live a meaningful life (existentialism), staying calm in tough times (stoicism), and exploring inner peace (Eastern philosophies like Buddhism and Taoism). Thinkers like Socrates, Descartes, and Nietzsche have also shaped how I see the world and understand myself. Additionally, the profound insights of modern thinkers like Osho and J. Krishnamurti greatly influence my perspective, offering unique approaches to spirituality and self-awareness.

Q -3 ) Why do you think the name is important?

Names are really important for a few reasons. First, they help us recognize and talk to each other easily. When someone uses our name, it gets our attention and makes conversations smoother.

Second, names help build relationships. Knowing and using someone's name shows respect and can make them feel valued. It's a way to connect with others in both personal and work situations.

Also, names often have deep meaning. They can tell us about a person's background, culture, and family history. This makes names more than just labels; they're a part of who we are and where we come from.

It's worth noting that we don't get to choose our own names, which can sometimes be a bit sad because names play such a big role in our lives.

Overall, names are key to how we communicate, build relationships, and understand each other's stories.
